At Floreat Park Primary School, our dad’s are part of The Fathering Project In Schools. As dads, we know that it’s easy to get lost in our other roles and forget what our first job is. Yet, it’s the most important job we’ll ever do. What we do, or don’t do as dads, has an enormous impact on the happiness and health of our children we love.

The aim is to inspire and equip dads and father-figures to be the best they can be and remind dads and father-figures that they have an important role in building resilience, self-respect, positive self-worth and emotional intelligence in all our children.

The Fathering Project In Schools is about giving children the best fathers and father-figures they can have. It’s for both staff and fathers, supporting them to build their community of positively engaged families.

Every year, the Floreat Dads organise a number of events, so stay tuned for upcoming events.
